Buying a subscription happens right in the dashboard. Open a product's detail page, choose a plan, and check out.
Each paid product shows its plans as cards — typically Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime. Each card lists the price, the effective monthly cost, and any savings, so you can compare at a glance.
The card marked Best value is the one we'd point most people to.
Some plans show how many seats are left. If a plan is sold out, you'll see that on the card.
A plan you already own is marked as your current plan.
Click Add to cart on the plan you want, and you'll be taken to checkout.
Checkout shows an order summary with your plan and the total. A couple of things to know:
Promo code — if you have one, enter it in the promo code box and the discount applies to your total.
One-time charge. Plans grant a fixed period and never auto-renew — you won't be billed again automatically. See Subscription & Billing Terms for the full details.
Receipt and key by email. Once payment goes through, your receipt and license are emailed to you, and the product unlocks in your library.
You can pay with any of these at checkout:
Card
Visa, Mastercard, and Amex, handled securely by Stripe.
Apple Pay / Google Pay
Shown automatically when your device and browser support it.
PayPal
Pay with your PayPal balance or linked funding.
Wallet balance
Pay instantly from your topped-up Akira wallet.
Prefer cryptocurrency, or one of the 18 methods via our reseller Spezz Exchanges? Those run a little differently — see Payment Options.
Akira never stores your card or personal payment data. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe — we only receive confirmation that you paid.
