Security & Sessions

Keep your Akira account secure — reset your HWID, review and sign out active sessions, check your sign-in log, and log out.

This page covers the security controls on your dashboard: your HWID, the devices signed into your account, and signing out.

Change your password

Your password is managed on the Profile page — see Change your password.

Reset your HWID

Your Hardware ID (HWID) ties your account to your machine, which helps prevent unauthorized account sharing. If you've changed hardware or are moving to a new machine, reset it from your Profile (the Danger Zone in Settings also has the control).

Click Reset HWID, then confirm — the control asks a second time so you don't trigger it by accident. You'll see a confirmation once it's done. Full details are in Resetting Your HWID.

Active sessions

Under Settings → Sign-in activity, you'll find every session currently signed into your account. Each one shows the device and browser, an approximate location, and when it was last active. Your current device is labeled This device.

  • To sign out a single session, click Sign out next to it.

  • To clear everything but the device you're on, use Sign out all other sessions.

If something looks unfamiliar, sign it out and change your password.

Sign-in log

The same area keeps a short log of recent successful sign-ins, each with a timestamp. It's a quick way to confirm the recent activity on your account is yours.

Log out

The log-out button sits in the top-right corner of the dashboard on every page. It ends your current session and returns you to the homepage.
