Compatibility

The Minecraft version, launcher, and operating systems Akira JNI Cosmic supports.

Akira JNI Cosmic is built for one launcher and one Minecraft version. That narrow target is the point — it's what makes the build possible at all. Check your setup before you buy.

Launcher

Akira JNI Cosmic runs on the official Cosmic Client launcher, available from cosmicclient.com, and on nothing else.

It will not start on Vanilla, Forge, Lunar, or Feather. If you play on any of those, you want Akira JNI instead.

Only use the official Cosmic Client download. Repackaged or third-party builds of the launcher aren't supported, and we can't guarantee Akira JNI Cosmic will work with them.

Minecraft versions

Akira JNI Cosmic supports:

• 1.8.9

That's the full list. Unlike Akira JNI, there is no 1.7.10 support in this build.

Operating systems

Akira JNI Cosmic is built for:

• Windows 10

• Windows 11

It isn't developed for custom Windows builds (Atlas, ReviOS, Ghost Spectre, and similar), so we can't guarantee it works there. It also doesn't run on macOS or Linux. Windows 11 gives the best experience.
