# Configs

*Configs* let you snapshot your feature settings or click-recorder timings and restore them with a single click. Switch between a PvP setup and a default setup in seconds, or share your configuration with other players.

There are two config types, each on its own sub-tab:

* **Configs** — all your feature settings.
* **Recorder** — your click-recorder timing profiles.

Each tab has two sections: **My Configs** (configs you created) and **Public** (configs shared by other users).

## Creating a config

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Click the Add button

Switch to the tab you want to save (Configs or Recorder), then click the **+** button. Akira creates a new entry with a default name immediately.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Rename it

Click the config's name to highlight it, type a new name, and press **Enter** to confirm. Names must be unique.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Edit details

Click the **folder** icon on the card to open the edit panel. There you can set a description and toggle **Public** on if you want other users to find and load your config.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Save

Click **Save Changes** in the edit panel, or click the card's action button (which shows **Save** while the config is active). Your settings are written to the server immediately.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Managing your configs

* **Load** — click **Load** on a config card to apply its settings immediately; the card is marked **Activated**. Hovering the button while a config is active shows **Save** instead.
* **Save** — with the config active (card shows **Activated**), hover it and click **Save** to overwrite the stored data with your current settings.
* **Rename** — click the config's name text directly on the card to make it editable, type the new name, and press **Enter**. Empty names and duplicates are rejected and the field resets.
* **Edit details** — click the **folder** icon to open the edit panel, where you can update the name, description, and the **Public** toggle, then click **Save Changes**. The config ID is also shown here — click it to copy it to your clipboard.
* **Favorite** — click the **star** icon to pin a config to the top of your list. Favorited configs float above the rest so you can find your most-used setups quickly.
* **Delete** — click the **trash** icon, then hold the center icon on the confirmation overlay until its countdown arc completes.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Deletion is permanent.** There is no way to recover a deleted config. Save or note down anything you need before deleting.
{% endhint %}

## Loading a public config

Public configs are shared by other Akira users. You can browse the feed or load one directly by its reference ID.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Switch to the Public tab

Inside the config type you want (Configs or Recorder), click the **Public** section.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Find a config

Browse the public cards. You can upvote configs you like using the heart button, or favorite any card to save it for quick access later.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Load it

Click **Load** on the card. The settings are applied immediately.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Reloading the list

The sidebar includes a **Reload** button that refreshes all four lists (My Configs, Public Configs, My Recordings, Public Recordings) at once. It has a 60-second cooldown to avoid hammering the server.
