# Frame Spoof

The *Frame Spoof* module reports a different FPS value to the server than your actual framerate. Some server-side movement systems adjust tolerances based on reported FPS, so spoofing a stable value can reduce false lag-back events.

Frame Spoof is currently disabled in the UI and not accessible from the settings panel.
{% endhint %}

## Target FPS

The framerate to send to the server, from `0` to `1000` (default `400`). Set to `0` to report your actual current framerate.
