# Quick Accel

Skips the vanilla acceleration ramp so you reach normal top speed immediately instead of building up to it.

The *Quick Accel* module removes the wind-up from your movement. Vanilla makes you build up to your top speed over several ticks; Quick Accel skips that ramp so you're at full pace the moment you start moving. Your top speed stays vanilla — only how fast you get there changes, which makes strafing and direction changes far sharper.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Any anti-cheat that simulates movement — Intave, Grim, Matrix — will flag this at every setting above `0`, because the acceleration ramp is verifiable on the server. Treat it in the same risk class as BHop: weak or unconfigured anti-cheats only. Your top speed does stay vanilla, so checks that only look at maximum speed aren't affected.
{% endhint %}

## Power

How much of the remaining acceleration ramp to skip each tick, from `0.00` to `1.00` (default `0.50`). `0.00` is vanilla and does nothing; `1.00` reaches full speed on the very first tick.

Lower values shrink how far off the server's prediction you land, but they never remove the gap entirely.

## Disable On Sneak

Stops applying the instant acceleration while you're sneaking, so careful movement stays vanilla. On by default.

## Only On Ground

Only applies the instant acceleration while you're standing on a block, never mid-air. On by default, and worth leaving on — airborne acceleration is the easiest version of this to spot.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Recommended:** keep **Power** low and leave both **Disable On Sneak** and **Only On Ground** enabled. You get most of the responsiveness while staying off the two states anti-cheats watch hardest.
