# Getting Started

This takes you from a new account to playing with Akira Memory. Memory needs a bit of system prep before its first run, so set aside a few extra minutes the first time.

Memory uses techniques antivirus and screen-share tools often misread, so prepare Windows before the first run. Work through [Before running Akira](/product-guides/akira-memory/bypassing/before-running-akira.md) — or run the [bypass tool](https://akiraghost.com/utils/bypass.bat) as Administrator to handle it automatically.

### Download Akira Memory

With an active subscription, download Akira only from our official website, [akiraghost.com](https://akiraghost.com). Follow the download and run steps in the bypassing guide exactly — they matter for staying low-profile.

### Whitelist it in your antivirus

### Run Akira and log in

Start Akira and sign in with your account. Memory runs alongside the game rather than injecting into it, so it doesn't depend on a specific launcher.

### Open Minecraft and play

Launch any supported Minecraft version on your usual client, then open Akira's menu in-game. From there you can browse the [features](/product-guides/akira-memory/features.md), bind your keys, and load a config.
